Student physical education and sports projects

Abstract
Objective of the study was to test and analyze benefits of the modern student physical education and sports projects for the sporting lifestyles of the student communities.
Methods and structure of the study. We sampled for a questionnaire survey the 17-22-year-old 1/ 3-year students (n=606, 498 girls and 108 boys) from Tyumen State University (n=485), Siberian Federal University and M. Akmullah Bashkir State Pedagogical University (n=121).
Results and conclusion. Leisure times were reported to average 3 to 4 hours a day, with a significant group reporting preference for the sporting lifestyles and commitment for the student physical education and sports projects. The respondents expect special promises for the student physical education and sports projects at the student sports clubs due to the wide range of optional physical education and sports service formats, tools, disciplines and domains, with a special role played by the university educational environments, leaders and information systems for promotion of every student physical education and sports initiative.
