Comparative characteristics of foreign and Russian postgraduate sports education

Objective of the study was to to consider and compare the features of postgraduate sports education in physical culture in Russia and Poland.
Methods and structure of the study. A comparative assessment of the program teaching materials of educational institutions in Poland and Russia, which carry out advanced training and retraining of personnel in the field of physical culture and sports, was carried out.
Results and conclusions. In Poland, as part of postgraduate education, one can obtain a certificate in such specialties as a sports coach, manual therapy; nutrition and dietetics; individual trainer; tourism management; labor protection in physical culture, sports.
In the Russian Federation, the focus has recently been on the course of a sports instructor. One of the many "practical" areas of education is training in the specialty "sports management" and "exercise instructor and massage therapist" in the field of health.
The analysis made it possible to determine the trend towards the creation of new directions in the system of postgraduate sports education in both countries, which are in demand in society and dictated by the time.
