Objective of the study was to identify the effectiveness of modern techniques of movements of players in table tennis and identify differences in the movements of the strongest Asian and Russian tennis players.
Methods and structure of the study. Pedagogical observations of the technique of movement of the strongest men, players in table tennis: 13 Asian tennis players who are in 20 world ranking, and 11 the strongest Russian players in table tennis. According to video recordings of the most important tournaments 2019-2020. Registered: Method of movement, direction of movement, the number of steps between shocks, output to the position to perform the impact of the palm or the back of the racket and the effectiveness of strikes.
Results and conclusions. The results of the study of the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the technique of movement of the strongest Russian and Asian players revealed differences in the technique of movements of the world's leadership of table tennis and the essential lag of Russian strongest tennis players from world trends in the technique of movement. Asian tennis players are more likely to strengthen and enhance, as they are more economical in terms of energy costs. In addition, Asian players between the blows perform more small steps, even when performing their feed and at the reception of the enemy's feed, which is explained not only to the recovery of displacements, but also the features of the technique of strikes.
Russian tennis players neglected with accurate movements and, as a rule, often perform blows on the ball from different points relative to the body, so Russian tennis players have more variable, but less stable appliances of the game.
