Speed development of athletes using sound rhythm

Objective of the study was to theoretical substantiation and experimental verification of the effectiveness of the methodology for the development of speed in athletes using the sound rhythm.
Methods and structure of the study. The pedagogical experiment was carried out on the basis of the Naberezhnye Chelny branch of the Kazan National Research Technical University. A.N. Tupolev-KAI. The participants of the experiment were divided into two groups: experimental and control (13 people in the control group and 13 in the experimental group). The control group was trained according to the traditional method, and the experimental group used the method of speed development using the sound rhythm using the Metronome Beats mobile application. The experimental methodology included exercises for the development of speed and speed qualities, which were performed after technical training on the first and second days of the microcycle of the special preparatory stage of training; exercises for the development of speed strength; multidirectional exercises; high-speed exercises in complicated and facilitated conditions of their implementation.
Results and conclusions. As a result of the experiment, an increase was obtained in the indicators of control tests in athletes of the experimental group, which is explained by the fact that speed-strength qualities are involved in speed, depending on the state of the neuromuscular apparatus, absolute muscle strength, and the ability of muscles to quickly increase effort at the beginning of movement.
