Objective of the study was to to evaluate the impact of fitness activities on platelet activity in men of the first mature age.
Methods and structure of the study. The observation group consisted of 25 clinically healthy men of the first mature age, who were engaged in fitness for three months. The control group included 26 men of the first mature age who avoided physical culture and sports throughout their lives. The physical condition was assessed using functional tests and platelet activity was determined by traditional methods.
Results and conclusions. Regular physical activity in the process of fitness increased general physical capabilities in men of the first mature age and weakened platelet aggregation activity. The resulting physiologically beneficial changes in platelet function are apparently associated with a decrease in the density of receptors on platelets in exercising men. In persons who made up the control group, the level of physical fitness was significantly lower, and the functionality of platelets was higher.

Keywords: men, first adulthood, fitness, physical abilities, platelets, primary hemostasis.
