Objective of the study was to scientifically substantiate the structural and functional model of the process of educating spiritual and moral qualities in the MMA training system.
Methods and structure of the study. In the course of the work, a study was organized of the opinion on the need to develop a program for educating the spiritual and moral qualities of MMA athletes from 27 leading coaches and 81 highly qualified athletes specializing in MMA. Also, a theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature data relating to the problem under study, an analysis of documentary materials regulating MMA were carried out.
Results and conclusions. In the course of scientific research, a model for educating the spiritual and moral qualities of a person in the MMA training system was developed, and pedagogical conditions for its effective functioning were proposed. The scientifically substantiated structural and functional model of the upbringing of the spiritual and moral qualities of a person in the MMA training system reflects the system of elements of this process and the system of their interrelations, and makes it possible to represent the entire real educational process.
