The purpose of the study is to substantiate the effectiveness of the "Physiological portrait" in the physical education of university students with impaired health based on the identification of the functional state of their cardiovascular system.
Methodology and organization of the study. The experiment was carried out during the 2020-2021 academic year (September, May) at the bases of the I. N. Ulyanov ChSU and the Chuvash State University, with the involvement of 144 people who mastered the disciplines of physical culture (FC) in a special medical group (SMG). The groups were engaged in approved work programs for FC. For experimental groups, a special research complex "Physiological Portrait" (FP) [2] of the functional state (FS) was additionally developed and introduced into the educational process. It was assumed that the obtained FS indicators and their comparison with the normative ones would develop the need for regular FC classes in SMG students [1, 3, 4].
The results of the study and their discussion. The parameters of pulse pressure (PD), heart rate (HR) and Starr index were analyzed (see the table). The FS indicators of the experimental participants are at the lower limits of the norm, which is typical for SMG. The statistical reliability of the examined groups is not confirmed. At the end of the experiment, positive dynamics of all indicators was recorded in the groups. At the same time, CV indicators allow us to conclude that in the experimental groups the tendency to improve FS is most pronounced.
Conclusion. In the functional state of the cardiovascular system of the students of the experimental group in the process of implementing the "Physiological portrait", significant improvements are observed associated with the activation of their physical activity. It is the results obtained through comparison with the normative indicators that actualize the need for SMG students in regular FC classes.
