The content of the affective component of students' sports culture (hereinafter referred to as AKSCS) is revealed in the individual originality and qualitative manifestation of the dynamics of emotional reactions and states in relation to various aspects of sports activity. The result of the development of the ACCC is the formation of the highest ethical feelings and qualities of a sporting nature.
The purpose of the study is to theoretically develop and experimentally substantiate the effectiveness of the methodology for the development of ACS in the process of sports activity.
Methodology and organization of the study. The technology of development of AKSCS includes in its content a set of methods of psychoregulation, self-control and emotional stimulation of the individual aimed at achieving high competitive results. In order to identify the emotional stability of students engaged in their chosen sport, as an integral indicator of the psychological readiness of athletes for competitions, we have developed a comprehensive methodology for the study of associative reactions and emotional states to various stimuli and confounding factors to measure and assess the level of development of motor tempo variability.
The results of the study and their discussion. At the end of the experiment, the average level of development of ACS was established in the CG, at the same time, the level of development of ACS above the average was noted in the EG subjects according to the sum of five diagnosed indicators: the time of occurrence of an association to a stimulus, the peculiarities of the nature of the manifestation of associative reactions, concomitant verbal and motor-emotional reactions, variability of motor pace, which indicates a high emotional stability of athletes.
Conclusion. On the basis of quantitative characteristics and qualitative analysis of the AKSCS, individual characteristics of students were identified, on the basis of which differentiated complexes of psychological impact measures and methodological recommendations for self-regulation and self-control of emotional states and reactions were developed in order to ensure the effectiveness of psychological preparation for participation in upcoming competitions.
