Introduction. The relevance of the work emphasizes the need for specialists in the field of "Tourism and service", who are preparing at the IFK [4], and the leaders of the campaigns of the VFSK TRP.
The purpose of the study is to develop an effective methodology and technology for training personnel in physical culture, health and sports tourism.
Methodology and organization of the study. At the first stage, students gained knowledge by studying textbooks [1]. Training in activity and competence approaches was carried out at the second technological stage. The students were tasked with organizing, preparing and holding a holiday "Tourism Day". For 10 teams of college faculties, teachers, 10 types of tourist competitions have been developed that would help fulfill the requirements of the "Hiking" test. All practical classes were conducted by the students of the specialization on the ground, drawing up the regulations on judging and the forms of protocols, according to which the results of the competitions were evaluated in the points scored by the team. The students were able to demonstrate the skills and abilities acquired during such activities during the celebration [3]. The third stage included passing a test hike and summing up the completed course. As an example of the work of teachers with students, practical educational and research classes in the natural environment in the settlement of Bulgarians of the Nizhnekamsk district of Tatarstan can be noted. For two days we were engaged in work on the arrangement of springs, the development of ecological tourist health trails. Tourists were improving their skills in setting up a tent camp for organizing overnight stays, environmentalists were preparing to measure the purity of water from nearby springs. The study should be active – this conclusion was made by the students, who announced the theme for the competition of innovative projects – "Down with the audience", which they are ready to defend before the expert commission.
Conclusion. For the development of sports and health tourism in the regions of Russia and the improvement of training in tourism, the methodology and technology of training have been proposed, which have shown their effectiveness.
