Benefits of distant training technology for academic physical education service

Objective of the study was to develop and test benefits of a new electronic theoretical and practical training model for bachelors of academic 49.03.01 physical education discipline majoring in physical education and sport sociology.
Methods and structure of the study. The new electronic theoretical and practical training model includes the following three modules: (1) data processing and analysis module; (2) theoretical and practical training module; and (3) progress test module; each with the relevant updatable content. We sampled for the model testing experiment the 3-year full-time students majoring in Sports Training discipline (n=30) and split them up into EG and RG. The group progresses were tested by the following tests. (1) physical education and sport sociology knowledge test; (2) practical physical education and sport sociology skills test; and (3) physical education and sport sociology motivations test.
Results and conclusion. We used a case study technology to survey the students' attitudes to the new electronic theoretical and practical training model versus their knowledge, skills and motivations test data. The tests demonstrated meaningful benefits of the new electronic theoretical and practical training model as complementary to the physical education and sport sociology curriculum at the Tchaikovsky State Institute of Physical Culture.
