Objective of the study was to identify the bio-physiological and psychological and pedagogical anomalies in physical education and sports activities using an artificial intelligence method.
Methods and structure of the study. A taxonomic method applied to detect anomalies in physical education and sports activities was based on the similarity of the obtained correlation indices.
Results and conclusions. The study showed the mechanism of seiation of the multi-dimensional research objects in the form of taxonomic procedures, based on the definition of the so-called taxonomic distance. The procedure of seriation of the multi-dimensional indicators of students’ physical development neutralizes the diverseness of the indicators, reduces them to a common basis and clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of identification of students' integrative talents.
The main feature of the taxonomic method is that the conditions for classifying and clustering research objects are created in a simple yet reliable form, which is of primary importance from the standpoint of artificial intelligence.
The specially selected intelligent systems methods not only allow for effective identification of anomalies in the data array under study, where there is usually an organic relationship between the individual indicators, but also enable to predict the consequences of their development.
