Abstract
Objective of the study was to conduct a step-by-step dietary intervention in kettlebell-lifters to determine the effects of additional ergogenic aids in the form of peptides and vitamin complex on their functional and biochemical rates.
Methods and structure of the study. The experiment was run on the basis of the laboratory of the N.I. Volkov Sports Biochemistry and Bioenergy Department at Russian State University of Physical Education, Sports, Youth and Tourism. The experiment involved the university students engaged in kettlebell lifting (n=27). The following research methods were applied: anthropometric measurements, questionnaire survey, functional and physical fitness tests, biochemical survey, and mathematical statistics methods.
Results and conclusions. The study found that the step-by-step dietary intervention with the supplementary use of a protein drug and vitamin complex helped increase the muscle component against the background of a decrease in the fat content, decreased the concentration of urea and lactate, reduced the subjects systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure rates against the background of increased vital capacity and strength endurance.
The EG test rates changed statistically significantly, thus indicating considerable progress in their special working capacity, increase in the muscle mass against the background of the decreased body fat percentage while maintaining the stability of the body mass, improvement in the biochemical indicators and functional state, which proved the reasonable practicality of application of peptide bioregulators and vitamin complexes in the diet of kettlebell-lifters.

Keywords: kettlebell-lifters, nutrition, optimization, overall and special endurance, urea, lactate, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, vital capacity, heart rate.
