Introduction. In novice athletes, under the motto "I can", "I must", there is a test of willpower and other qualities. The body begins to function at the limit of its own capabilities and, as a rule, there is a "failure": the protective functions of a physiological nature cause the athlete to feel tired with a constant craving for sleep during training. Such symptoms signal changes in the state of the cardiovascular system of young athletes.
The purpose of the study is to identify the features of coaching control at the initial stage of sports training of novice athletes with a "sports heart".
The results of the study and their discussion. Important aspects of coaching and medical attention are age (16-20 years) and age-related changes. "Sports heart", caused by hypodynamia in the perspective of personality ontogenesis, under unfavorable conditions becomes a "delayed action mine" in the development of vegetative-vascular dystonia (VSD) [2, p.45]. Medical practice shows that VSD under the influence of adverse psychogenic factors on the body leads to the development of coronary heart disease (CHD) [2, p.49].
Thus, the dynamics of the development of heart pathology is as follows: left atrial ventricular hypertrophy ("sports heart») - vegetative-vascular dystonia (VSD) - coronary heart disease (CHD) - angina of psychosomatic origin.
Certain requirements are imposed on the training of the coaching staff, the quality of their competencies from the point of view of the possibility of their practical implementation in the training of highly qualified athletes [1]. The peculiarity of coaching control at the initial stage is, first, to prevent a sharp refusal of novice athletes for a long time from training, and this is the main condition for maintaining their health. Secondly, to exclude cases of overdose.
Conclusion. It is recommended for athletes with a "sports heart" who want to leave a sports career, it is not acceptable to refuse physical exertion, since inactivity is the primary cause of the development of pathological changes in the heart muscle.
