Biomechanical structure of motor actions in different javelin throwing phases

Objective of the present study was to rationalize the structure of motor actions in different javelin throwing phases.
Methods and structure of the study. The biomechanical analysis was carried out based on the video materials of 764 training and competitive attempts of the Belarusian javelin throwers. The videograms were analyzed using the software application "KinoVea". The parameters to be studied were the temporal parameters of movement, angular speed of movement of the body parts, inertia moments and radius of the inertia moments, angular positions in the joints and trajectory of the center of mass of the body links relative to the common center of mass.
Results of the study and conclusions. The movement trajectories of the body links relative to the center of mass were identified, which contributed to the development of maximum efforts and accelerations in the end links. The basic kinematic and dynamic parameters of movement in different phases were identified. The sequence of movement of the body links in javelin throwing was studied taking into account the influence of the kinematic and dynamic movement parameters.
