Introduction. When analyzing studies of the most promising support jumps in gymnastics in recent years, it is shown that such jumps are jumps of the "Yurchenko" and "Forward Flip"type.
the aim of the study is to provide theoretical justification and experimental verification of the means of improving the technique of the support jump "flip forward" in gymnasts aged 8-9 years.
Methodology and organization of the study. In the study, the analysis of the kinematic characteristics of the movements when performing vault "Revolution forward" with the use of video analysis of movements SimiMotion: the contact time of the feet of a gymnast with gymnastic bridge and arms with the surface of the horse, the duration of the first and second phases of the flight, as well as changes in the angular values of the joints, the main criteria was the angle of "attack horse" and the angle "push hands". The shooting frequency is 100 frames per second. The sample is 38 people.
The results of the study and their discussion. The developed tools were a wide range of plyometric exercises performed by pushing with legs and hands, as well as exercises using simulators [1] and developed devices for simulating the first phase of flight and pushing with hands, followed by body movement along the required trajectory. According to several studies, the best is "angle of attack" of a horse, equal to 45°, and the angle of repulsion hands – 90o, respectively angular displacement of the gymnast at the moment of the support arms is 45°.
As a result of the use of these tools in the experimental group, statistically significant changes were identified, indicated in the table.
Conclusion. The developed tools made it possible to adjust the kinematic parameters in the direction of model characteristics.
