The aim of the study is to identify the attitude of the teaching staff of medical universities to a healthy lifestyle, as well as the peculiarities of their perception of the revival of the TRP system on the basis of sociological analysis.
Methodology and organization of the study. The sociological survey was attended by 650 representatives of the teaching staff of eight medical universities of the country-V. I. Razumovsky SSMU (Saratov), Sechenov University (Moscow), KSMU (Kazan), Ros tsmu (Rostov), N. N. Burdenko VSMU (Voronezh), VolgSMU (Volgograd), KrasSMU named after prof. Voino-Yasenetsky (Krasnoyarsk), Ryazan State Medical University named after I. P. Pavlov (Ryazan). The research method is an anonymous questionnaire, the selection of units for participation in the survey was carried out by a selective method.
The results of the study and their discussion. The conducted sociological research revealed an insufficient level of commitment of representatives of the teaching staff of the university to the principles of a healthy lifestyle – only a third of the survey participants (34.9 %) believe that they lead a healthy lifestyle.
In general, the teaching staff of medical universities is not sufficiently informed about the history of the formation of the TRP system. At the same time, 48% of the teaching staff, according to their own estimates, are well acquainted with the requirements and age standards of the TRP system, and another 4.6% of respondents admitted that they are partially familiar with this information or have outdated data. Slightly less than half of the respondents (46.9 %) are completely unfamiliar with the standards of the TRP system, and 0.5% found it difficult to answer. Despite the insufficient level of awareness of teachers on this issue, 64.9 % indicated that they do not need information about the TRP system. Only 35.1% of respondents expressed interest in additional information about the TRP system of standards.
Conclusions. Despite the fact that most representatives of the faculty of medical universities consider physical activity necessary for harmonious development, however, their attitude to sports is passive, formal. This is confirmed by the low level of interest of the teaching staff in participating in tests for the implementation of TRP standards.
