Introduction. Police officers when detaining an offender often find themselves in situations of single combat with him in a prone position. However, in the process of mastering the program of "initial" professional training, police officers do not learn the techniques of lying down [1]. It is necessary to search for an effective applied technique of lying down wrestling, as well as ways to integrate it with other fighting techniques of wrestling within the discipline "Physical Training".
The aim of the study is to experimentally substantiate professionally-oriented techniques of lying down and methods of teaching police officers these techniques on the basis of an integrative approach within the framework of mastering the discipline "Physical training" of the program of "initial" professional training.
Methodology and organization of the study. the study was conducted on the basis of the tyumen institute for advanced training of employees of the ministry of internal affairs in 2019/2020. the study involved two training groups: experimental (eg) and control (cg). the cg studied a set of techniques of wrestling lying down in self-training classes, but under the guidance of teachers. In the EG, lying down wrestling techniques were studied in three subjects of the discipline "Physical Training":" Pain techniques"," Release from grabs and girths","Blows and protection from blows". At the beginning and at the end of the pedagogical experiment, the level of proficiency in the technique of lying down was tested in representatives of both groups.
The results of the study and their discussion. In the course of the study, a set of lying-down fighting techniques was developed, which are most in demand for ensuring the personal safety of police officers. A special feature of these techniques is the possibility of switching from lying down to bending the arm behind the back and lifting the offender, as well as accompanying or shackling him with handcuffs. Techniques of lying down wrestling are differentiated by training topics and integrated with the technique of: pain techniques, protection from blows, release from grabs. analysis of the results of the final test revealed a higher level of proficiency in lying down wrestling techniques among eg employees. representatives of the eg performed 17.6 % more receptions than representatives of the cg.
Conclusion. Training police officers about the techniques of fighting as part of the development of the discipline "Physical training" of the program "initial" training is effective in the condition that they unified the most popular in the practice of the police methods of fighting, methods will be supplemented with the technique of transition to bend your hands behind your back and adapted to implement other methods of detention of the offender; skills techniques are in the process of exploring several topics based on the use of integrative approach.
