Choreography in rhythmic gymnastics, its role and focus

The aim of the study is to study the meaning and direction of choreographic training in the process of training gymnasts-artists.
The results of the study and their discussion. when analyzing the opinions of coaches, choreographers and other specialists in the field of rhythmic gymnastics, the following was found:
37% of respondents believe that elements of choreography are the basic basis for working in all types of gymnastic all-around, creating a basis for mastering basic motor skills (jumps, pirouettes and balances);
the overwhelming majority of respondents (96%) indicate that choreographic training is crucial in the process of forming a gymnastic style (posture, stretched legs, high half-finger);
58% of specialists believe that choreography is one of the means of developing the accuracy of movements and rhythm;
63 % indicate that elements of different types of choreography: folk, classical, modern, etc. - they are the basis of competitive programs of gymnasts, especially their mandatory component-dance tracks.
The study of experts 'opinions on the role of choreography in the development of artistry and culture of gymnasts' movements showed that 100% of respondents clearly noted the great importance of this type of training for the formation of expressive movements, dance, grace, education of beauty and correctness of movements, the development of a sense of taste and emotionality. It was found that 95% of specialists indicated the need for choreography to create an individual style and manner of performance for gymnasts, and 81% of respondents say that choreographic training directly affects the level of performance skills of athletes.
Conclusion. The conducted survey allows us to conclude that choreography exercises have an impact on various aspects of sports training in rhythmic gymnastics.
