Distance learning in physical education and sports discipline in terms of self-isolation

Objective of the study was to identify the peculiarities of online physical education and sports classes on the Blackboard platform in terms of self-isolation in the aspect of sociological analysis.
Methods and structure of the study. The Blackboard software for full-time, composite, and distance study modes was launched in Kazan national research technical university named after A. N. Tupolev in 2012. This software system provides students with access to an e-learning resource using the distance education technologies. The data on the effectiveness of distance learning in the Physical Education and Sports discipline (elective discipline) were obtained using a sociological to identify the students’ attitude to the mentioned training system, as well as their stand on the quality of the online physical education classes and determine problems that arise during distance learning.
Results of the study and conclusions. The study revealed the peculiarities of the online physical education classes on the LMS Blackboard platform at Kazan national research technical University named after A. N. Tupolev – KAI, the students’ stand on the quality of the online classes, the problems encountered by the students during their distance learning, as well as the pros and cons of distance learning in the Physical Education and Sports discipline.
