Key words: wrestling, training and competitive activities, the behavior of the athletes.

The purpose of the study is to determine and justify the factors of successful behavior of hearing-impaired and healthy wrestlers in the process of training and competitive activities.
Methodology and organization of the study. To determine the type of behavior of the subjects (examined highly qualified athletes with hearing impairment, n=18 people and healthy athletes, n=17 people) in situations where they were presented with professional requirements, a questionnaire of behavior and experiences related to work ("AVEM") was used. The success of behavior in training and competitive activities was determined by three main components: activity; strategy for overcoming problem situations, and emotional mood.
The results of the study and their discussion. The study found that insufficient ability to rest and relax contributes to the emergence of mental overstrain, a decrease in overall mental stability, a sense of dissatisfaction with the results of their activities, and the emergence of tendencies to refuse to perform tasks in situations of increased requirements.
Characteristics of the strategy for overcoming problem situations showed that the propensity to reconcile with the situation of failure and easy refusal to overcome it in fighters with hearing impairment is significantly higher (p<0.001). An active problem-solving strategy is more typical for healthy athletes, but there were no significant differences in this factor. Indicators of internal calmness and balance are slightly higher in the group of fighters with hearing impairment, which indicates a subjective sense of mental stability.
The emotional attitude to training and competitive activities allowed us to establish that the success factor in professional activities is significantly higher in wrestlers with impaired hearing, which indicates complete satisfaction with the results of their activities (p<0.001).
Conclusion. Analysis of the test results showed that in General, athletes of both groups showed high values for all the studied components (p<0.05), but the attitude to their training and competitive activities in wrestlers with hearing impairment has more pronounced values, focused on achieving success in their chosen sport.
