Annotation
The use of deep massage of the paravertebral muscles and training of the eye muscles based on the use of badminton exercises improve the functioning of the dorsal spine and the visual analyzer.

Key words: badminton, shuttle, vision, roller massager.

Introduction
The modern training process is aimed at the maximum implementation of the functional reserve of the body of athletes to improve their physical condition and psychophysiological status for a specific time interval - a competitive session [2]. At the same time, little attention is paid to other aspects of the life of athletes, for example, academic activity.
An athlete, mastering an educational program, also experiences an increased tension of the functional systems of the body. Being in a sitting position for a long time while concentrating on visual objects leads to a significant load on the dorsal spine and the visual apparatus. According to Thomas Myers, these systems are interconnected and disorders in one of them (scoliosis, lordosis, kyphosis, protrusion and herniated intervertebral disc) reduce the level of vision along the myofascial network [1].
Research methods and organization
The contingent of the studied persons consisted of 20 badminton students aged 16-23. Vision diagnostics was performed on a Tonoref II autorefractometer. The dorsal spine was studied using the Adams Forward Bend Test and X-ray results using the Cobb method [3]. Data analysis was performed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 software.
Results and discussion
The participants in the experiment were tested before and after corrective measures for 3 months. At the beginning of the study, the following indicators of vision were recorded V OD / OS, 0.2 / 0.1 ± V OD / OS, 0.3 / 0.2. Also, absolutely all individuals were found to have dorsal disorders in the form of initial manifestations of scoliosis: 60% of the subjects had degree I up to 10 ° on the Cobb scale, 40% had II degree - 11-25 ° (p <0.01). In the intervals between training sessions, the studied group performed a short (up to 5 minutes) set of exercises using a mobile and compact roller trainer while simultaneously tracking the shuttlecock for badminton in a lying position. At the end of the experiment, an increase in visual indices V OD / OS, 0.5 / 0.5 ± V OD / OS, 0.7 / 0.7 (p <0.05) was revealed. Also, a positive dynamics of changes in the Cobb angle was found in the entire group (7.490 ± 1.520, p <0.05), which allowed 30% of them to pass from II to I degree of scoliosis.
Conclusion
Interpretation of the data obtained allowed us to draw a conclusion and an assumption that in order to improve the characteristics of the functioning of systems in the dorsal spine and the visual apparatus, it is advisable to use deep massage of the paravertebral muscles with simultaneous training of the eye muscles.
