Introduction. Now there is a need for systematization of techniques with use of new or already existing technical devices in preparation of wrestlers of Greco-Roman style in the conditions of sports schools.
The aim of the study is to improve the training process of Greco‑Roman wrestlers on the basis of the developed methodology of strength training with the use of special simulators.
Methodology and organization of the study. The study was conducted in the training groups of wrestlers of the sports school. In total 30 wrestlers aged 15-16 years participated in it, divided into homogeneous groups – control (KG) and experimental (EG).
The circular method of performing the proposed exercises on simulators differs from other methods (repeated, interval, etc.) by a combination of a number of features in order to comprehensively develop physical qualities. One of the features is the very organization of this method, in the process of training which can include local exercises and observe the principle of systematic and variant training loads within one session, changing one exercise to another, the athlete achieves the effect of switching, which to a certain extent contributes to the removal of accumulated fatigue.
The results of the study and their discussion. Comparing the shifts in sports results and control exercises in EG and KG, the following facts can be noted.
By the end of the experiment, the subjects in EG surpassed the subjects in KG mostly in all respects. In the 50 m run from the start in EG, the results improved from 7.26 to 7.01 s, in kg-from 7.31 to 7.21 s. in the 30 m run: from 3.89 to 3.81 s-in EG and from 3.92 to 3.89-in KG. the level of reliability of the differences between the groups – p>0.06 and p<0.07, respectively. The increase in results at the same distances within each group also reliably reflects the advantages of the means and methods used in EG compared to KG.
The test subjects EG compared with KG significantly increased the results in other tests (control exercises) from the spot: in the 1000 m run (p<0.08) and in the jump from the spot (p<0.05).
A significant improvement in the results occurred in EG compared to KG in indicators reflecting the static strength of the wrestlers: forearm flexion and shoulder extension, hand strength (p<0.05). Also significantly improved values of special training wrestler: test "Carousel" (p<0.05), throw a dummy (p<0.005), test "ground-bridge" (p<0.05), getting up from the shoulders (p<0.08).
When analyzing the test results in points in EG and KG are obvious higher performance in wrestling tests: "Throw a dummy", 13 points in EG against 4 points in KG. Also noticeable higher increase in the test "Getting up from the shoulders": 12-in EG against 4-in KG. in the test "ground-bridge" subjects in EG improved data by 15 points, and in KG by 6 points.
Conclusion. The analysis of results of pedagogical experiment showed practical expediency of use of a technique of complex application of training devices in speed-power preparation of wrestlers-young men of Greco-Roman style. In addition, the use of new training tools helped the subjects to quickly master the standards.
