Objective of the study was to develop and test benefits of individual academic physical education service models for the self-reliant class/ off-class studies and physical progress. The new method was intended to attain the key goal of an academic physical education service that is to protect and improve health and improve physical fitness and motor skills. Sampled for the questioning survey geared to test the healthy lifestyle and physical activity were the 1-3-year MSSU students (n=142) split up into Experimental and Reference Groups (EG, RG) of 20 female students each; with the RG trained by the standard curriculum endorsed by the Education Ministry; and the EG trainings including theoretical and practical training modules for the individual self-reliant off-class and class practices. The core objective of the individual physical education models was to build up the health competences with positive emotions and due motivations for the trainings.
The new individual academic physical education service models testing experiment showed their benefits as verified by the EG versus RG progress in the functional and physical fitness test rates and motivations for the physical education process.
