Modern information technologies are being increasingly used in everyday life of the sporting communities, with computers already doing better in the mind sport disciplines than humans. Subject to the study was the modern team sports analyzed by PIRS, mathematical game modeling based on A.A. Polozov Rating IT. Theoretically, a team may score a maximum in a top-ranking match conditional on the most- and least-skilled players of the opposing teams facing in every encounter in every of the 50 game components, with the game quality directly correlating in this case with the number of encounters per match. It should be mentioned that every coach believes in his/her own ability to precisely rate every player’s performance in every game component, but it is not always true in fact. Actually, only two thirds of the team resource is mobilized at most per match due to the fact that every game, interpreted as a data array, is too voluminous for a coach; and this is why every coach tends to stick to a few preferred game templates prepared for every upcoming match. For the purposes of the study we analyzed a study report of a multidisciplinary research team that analyzed the Russian national women’s handball team performance for the last year – to show how the performance indicators may cause some influence on the competitive success rate. Analyzed in the study are a few match performance cases of the leading futsal, football, handball and basketball teams with ratings of every team resource. It should be noted, however, that the team resource mobilization is a logistically challenging initiative that should be designed in a most efficient format. Nevertheless, the modern information technologies tend to gradually reinforce the game performance in the team sports by new solutions – much in the same way as in mind sports.
