Educators’ questionnaire survey to profile their attitudes to the GTO Complex implementation in the national education system was designed to include the toolkit offered in an autonomous version of the electronic questionnaire form recommended by the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation. We used the questionnaire survey data to rate the factors of influence on the teachers’ attitudes to the GTO Complex implementation in the education curricula. Subject to the pilot questionnaire survey were 150 physical education teachers from Langepas, Nefteyugansk and Nefteyugansk region, Surgut city and Mezhdurechenskiy town; with 90.3 % of the respondents reported to have a higher education; 8% secondary special education; and 0.7% partial higher education.
The questionnaire survey data showed most of the physical education teachers being supportive of the GTO Complex implementation initiative due to the facilitating effect of the Complex on the school and academic physical education and sports. It was also found that 60% of the respondents appreciate progress of the GTO Complex implementation efforts in the educational system and the relevant progress in mass sport activity including competitions, festivals, quiz games and other events.
