Mental health protection and improvement initiatives are given a high priority today since it is one of the key prerequisites for success in the personality development process and socialization with a variety of age-, social-status- and culture-specific individual roles and secondary individual needs and goals including the self-perfection and self-fulfilment ones.
Objective of the study was to identify, by a theoretical analysis, due socialising and mental adaptation mechanisms to efficiently protect mental health. We analysed a variety of socialising and mental adaptation mechanisms for individual mental health including the social adaptation; self-activation and self-fulfilment ones; adaptive anxiety; social feel etc., and different effects of these mechanisms on an individual.
