The study considers benefits of the physical training and health sessions based on Nordic walking practices. Subject to the tests were 20 students (10 men and 10 women) of ChurapchanState Physical Culture and Sports Institute. The Nordic walking practices were applied in the first-year full-time curricula of the Bachelors of Physical Culture majoring in the Physical Training and Health Technologies including the academic Vocational Sport Theory and Practice and Base Types of the Physical Training and Health Technologies disciplines. The Nordic walking practices were adapted to the specific requirements of the physical education establishment and the climatic and geographic conditions of the region, with the practices being focused on the general physical conditioning domain. The students’ physical workability rate variations were profiled by Ruffier indices rating the heart performance under physical workloads; and by the Cooper Test to rate the physical workload impacts on the muscular groups and the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. The students’ life quality was rated by the SF-36 Questionnaire to profile the physical and mental health conditions of the subjects. The study data and analyses showed the practices being beneficial as verified by the physical performance growth and life quality improvement test rates and the growing adaptability of students to the academic process conditions at the physical education establishments.
