The study was designed to obtain the competitive performance (CP) rating data of professional boxers in the early and final periods of their professional careers taking 20-30 years on average, with a special emphasis on correlations of the competitive performance rates in the junior and senior boxers. The study found the least and most stable correlations of the age-specific CP rates. Some CP rate correlations were found quite stable and independent of many factors of direct or indirect influence on the CP rates (age, revisions of the rules of competitions, new training tools and methods, etc.). The study findings may be applied for the athletic training process control and management by the relevant educational and psychological tools for success in the top-ranking events.

Keywords: professional boxing, competitive performance, competitive performance rating data variations, correlation ranging ratio.
