The physical education sport-centring process will be designed for the physical education system to include both the athletic training components and competitions in application to the general education school children. However, the competition design and management technologies applied in the elite sports will be converted (adapted) for application in the physical education domain. The innovative designs of mass competitions in the education process will include mass sport competitions as a new category of sport events. We have developed a set of goals and missions for the mass sport competitions with specification of the most appropriate sport disciplines and physical activities, requirements, conditions and management concepts. Studies of the values and priorities of the participants to the modelled mass competitions supported our prior assumptions on these mass competitions being designed in facilitating and accessible formats free of enforcements and profits, the competitions being considered a highly important factor of personality progress and source of positive emotions.

Keywords: sportization, competitive principle, competitive technology conversion, fun from sports, mass sports.
