The article gives findings of a practical study of the general education school physical education teacher’s mental burnouts versus their professional qualification categories. The study applied the relevant questionnaire forms designed to: rate the teacher’s social and psychological adaptation; diagnose maladjustment indications using the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) by K. Maslach and S. Jackson; and obtain the Cattel’s 16 Personality Factor Questionnaire survey data. The study found that it is the highly professional teachers having the highest practical experience that are the most prone to the mental burnouts. The following factors were found to contribute to the high-ranking teachers’ burnouts: dissatisfaction with the assets and equipment in their sport gyms; unhappiness with the educational process accomplishments versus the high energy costs; need in partner teachers to help carry the workloads; high stresses associated with the high health risks for the trainees. These factors were found to give rise to the personality fulfilment deficiencies including dissatisfactions with own self, spiritual bankruptcy and fatigue, emotional shifts etc.
