The current situation of technogenic pollution results in the failure of adaptive changes of functional systems of the human body and various diseases.
The goal of the research was to study the adaptive changes in the cardiorespiratory system of students under the influence of physical training in a variety of modern environments. The study was conducted during the 2014-2015 academic year at the premises of Southern Federal University (SFU, Chkalovsky settlement) under environmental conditions when the maximum permissible concentration of harmful substances was not exceeded and at Rostov State University of Economics (RINH, city center), under conditions of exceeded maximum permissible concentration of harmful substances (carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide and formaldehyde) in the environment Adaptive changes in the cardiorespiratory system were examined by estimating the parameters of breath-holding functional tests (timed inspiratory and expiratory capacity), level of physical state, Ruffier index, effectiveness of blood circulation index, Pignet index, adaptive capability of the circulatory system and CO2 content in arterial blood. The study of indicators of cardiorespiratory changes under the influence of physical training sessions in a variety of environmental conditions allows to better reveal particular features of adaptive responses, to assess the impact of physical activity on the body, to timely identify prepathological conditions and give practical advice about design of health and fitness programs.
