Objective of the study was to explore the basic and metabolic rates critical for the energy supply, physical work capacity and competitive accomplishments in a variety of sport disciplines. The study data and analyses found some rate variations through the laboratory and instrumental research. The performance rates were found to vary within the reference limits, and it was interpreted as indicative of the functional and metabolic processes being stable. .

Keywords: metabolism, compared rates, transitional state, status indices, adaptive capability, tests, energy supply, tension, hormones, creatinephosphokinase activity rate, adaptation phases, reactivity.
