Research is devoted to theoretical and methodological substantiation of the application of the kinesiological approach to organization of university sports education. The research methods applied were as follows: analysis, synthesis, pedagogical experience generalization, simulation, lesson observation. The study resulted in the development of an innovative approach to sports education of students on the basis of integrative field of knowledge about movement and motor activity of man - kinesiology, involving the integration of student physical and mental development during motor activity. It has been established that one of the main concepts in kinesiology is human kinesiological potential, which is considered as an integrative unity of its intellectual and motor properties, which are of great importance for the psychophysical training for social professional activities. The designed model of sports education reflects a purposeful process of formation of student's competency in the field of self-development and self-improvement of the kinesiological potential. The sports education process is distinguished by the implementation of psychological, theoretical, valeological and methodological training of students in addition to physical one. All this facilitates the integration of their physical and mental development in the course of solving motor tasks. In this process, the main role is played by subjective physical education and sports activity of students, organized in the conditions of developing communication in accordance with the principles of anthropic educational technologies.

Keywords: kinesiology, sport education, students, kinesiological potential, anthropic technology.
