Key words: ways of mental actions, actual development zone, definition of concepts.
Currently, new educational standards have been introduced in general education. They fundamentally change the principles of organization of the educational process, as the system-activity approach lays the basis of education instead the knowledge one. This entailed changes in the content of education (practical experience becomes the learning content), methods (preference for productive teaching methods: research, planning, heuristic).
In this regard, comprehensive school teachers have difficulties in implementing the standard requirements due to the novelty of the project, involving changing the techniques of general education having been established for years. With this in mind, it is relevant to make a research aimed at addressing the problem of formation of educational competencies, since, as shown by the literature review, the works, in which the theoretical knowledge would be developed within the activity paradigm are lacking in the field of physical culture.
The purpose of the study was to develop the ways of action of those involved in the educational process to ensure concepts formation at the middle school lessons of physical education.
After 15 lessons, without losing their motor component, the nine-formers have significantly improved the results in the formation of the terms "running", "walking", "jump", "throwing", "throw".
