Development of Speed-Strength Qualities of Young Wrestlers by Means of National Sports of Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)

The purpose of the present study was to improve the technology of special physical training of young wrestlers.
The results of the study show that the natural increment occurs in all age groups from 12 to 17 years, but the nature of their manifestation is different. Thus, according to the correlation analysis of the relationship of national sports with basic motor abilities of young wrestlers, the use of the exercises including national Yakut jumps contributed to the development of speed-strength qualities of young wrestlers.
Examination of the literature sources, synthesis of best practices and the findings suggested the following conclusions:
Speed-strength qualities of young fighters have a distinct tendency to improve with age. The absolute indicator of speed-strength qualities, including natural development, increases due to the effective use of means from national sports. The highest (statistically significant) growth rates of speed-strength qualities were detected in 14-17-year old boys (by 52%).
The strongest correlations were found between national sports and basic motor abilities of young wrestlers.
