Abstract
Objective of the study is to identify the features of the age- and gender-related dynamics of the functional indicators of children and adolescents of Mongolia with different levels of regular physical activity. Methods and structure of the study. The original database comprised school-age children and adolescents of Mongolia, allocated to a control group and a group of young athletes. The data of 7112 examinees were included in the analysis. Results and conclusions. It was shown that young athletes generally display a more pronounced age-related increase in peak expiratory flow rate and handgrip strength, while their blood pressure indicators are characterised by relatively stable age-related dynamics. The results should be regarded as a secondary analysis of previously collected material rather than as a primary publication of the original sample.
