Abstract
Objective of the study is to determine the effectiveness of targeted impacts on the kinematic characteristics of the running technique of young female athletes specialising in short-distance running. Methods and structure of the study. 25 short-distance runners aged 15-17 took part in the experiment. In the experimental group (EG, n=13), the increase in the mastery of the athletes was carried out, in contrast to the control group (CG, n=12), on the basis of a more targeted impact on the kinematic parameters of the running technique. The criterion of the result-effectiveness of the application of the experimental factor was the increase in the speed-strength indicators (the gradient of muscle strength and jump tests) and the growth of the sporting result in running the main distance. Results and conclusions. The calculated partial correlation coefficients between the running time on a specific segment of the 100 m distance and the relative explosive strength of the muscles, as well as the results in the jump tests, with the statistical exclusion (elimination) of leg length in the female athletes, showed that, other things being equal, the advantage in running the segments of the distance is held by the runners possessing higher indicators of the explosive strength of the leg extensor muscles. The targeted pedagogical impact in the spring-summer preparatory period on the components of running speed (the length and frequency of steps), while orienting towards the individual features of the female athletes, made it possible to increase their speed-strength indicators, which contributed to the improvement of the mean-group growth of the result in the 100 m run in the runners of the EG by 0.21 s (p<0.05) in comparison with the previous season. In the female athletes of the CG this increase amounted to 0.09 s (p>0.05).
