Abstract

Objective of the study is to develop a programme of the current control of the motor preparedness of young ice hockey players. Methods and structure of the study. The substantiation of the programme of the current control of preparedness was carried out with the participation of 135 ice hockey players aged 9-19 of various qualifications and roles. The informativeness of the tests included in the programme of the current control was assessed by the statistical significance of the correlation coefficient between the results in the tests and the result-indicators of the ice hockey players in competitive conditions (p≤0.05). The reliability of the tests was assessed by the calculation of the reliability coefficient (test-retest). The suitability of the tests for the monitoring of preparedness within the framework of each training session was assessed by the time expenditure on the conduct of the tests and the obtaining of prompt information after the performance of the test. Results and conclusions. On a sample of 135 athletes, tests for the assessment of the speed of manoeuvring were substantiated: skating 16 m, straight puck handling 16 m and puck handling with dribbling 16 m. The programme includes the calculation of the lateral asymmetry and the realisation effectiveness of technique, as well as age-related norms. It was shown that the tests are informative, reliable and take no more than 2 minutes per athlete, and when using express-diagnostics stands, about 5 seconds. The programme can be applied for the operational current control in each training session after a special warm-up and can be recommended for use in the scientific-methodological support of the preparation of young ice hockey players.
