Abstract
Objective of the study is to theoretically substantiate the role of the psychomotor development and motor activity of children of early age as factors of the prevention of speech disorders in the context of the concept of advancing socialisation. Methods and structure of the study. Theoretical analysis and generalisation of domestic and foreign psychological-pedagogical and neuropsychological research devoted to the regularities of the psychomotor and speech development of children; a questionnaire survey of the parents of children of early age. Results and conclusions. It was established that motor activity stimulates the sensorimotor and neuropsychological mechanisms of speech, creating the preconditions of the communicative development of the child. Within the framework of the concept of advancing socialisation, psychomotor development acts as a prophylactic resource of the prevention of speech difficulties and a condition of the successful social interaction of children of early age. The results confirm the necessity of the early diagnostics of delays of psychomotor development and the introduction of pedagogical technologies directed at the motor activity of the child and the increase of the competence of parents in this sphere.
