Abstract
Objective of the study is the development and approbation of the modelling of the jump technique in figure skaters on the basis of the method of biomechanical 3D analysis and the quantitative assessment of the moment of inertia of the athlete’s body using accessible software means. Methods and structure of the study. The extraction of the coordinates of the joints from the video recording of the jump was carried out with the help of the MediaPipe Pose automatic pose determination system, the calculation of the mass-inertial characteristics of the body segments according to the Zatsiorsky-Seluyanov anthropometric tables, and the construction of an individual skeletal 3D model in the Blender environment. The study was conducted in the 2025-2026 academic year with the participation of 16 athletes. Results and conclusions. A pilot approbation of the method of biomechanical 3D analysis was carried out, making it possible to visually present the pose of the athlete in the key phases of the jump, to compare it with a standard and to assess the potential change in the angular velocity of rotation when correcting grouping errors on the basis of the law of conservation of angular momentum.
