The PRC has a developed competition structure that includes comprehensive national tournaments, all-China boxing championships, regional competitions, and international tournaments, which provide regular competitive practice for athletes and serve as an important mechanism for selecting the most promising boxers; multi-stage system of sports reserve formation.
