Abstract
Objective of the study is to improve the effectiveness of the physical rehabilitation process for military personnel suffering from the consequences of mine-blast injuries to the lower extremities. Methods and structure of the study. The study analyzed 22 case files of military personnel aged 30-45 undergoing rehabilitation at S.M. Bubnovsky's centers. Assessment of functional status and changes in indicators were based on the results of motor tests, the Spielberger-Hanin State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) for pain, and others. Results and conclusions. A strength training method was developed for use on S.M. Bubnovsky's multifunctional exercise machine, taking into account both the psycho-emotional and functional condition of military personnel suffering from the consequences of mine-blast injuries. The developed method contributed to the restoration of the following lower limb functions: joint mobility, reduction of pain, elimination of swelling, restoration of the main biomechanical parameters of basic movements, and restoration of lower limb strength indicators, which ensured a return to duty and to an active, full-fledged life.
