Objective of the study is to evaluate the competitive performance of the finalists in the Russian Kickboxing Championship (full-contact discipline).
Methods and structure of the study. The empirical basis of the study consisted of the bouts of the finalists of the 2024 Russian Kickboxing Championship in the ‘full-contact’ discipline (men – n=24, women – n=16). The analysis of competitive performance was conducted on the basis of official video recordings of the bouts using O.P. Frolov’s methodology, designed for the quantitative assessment of the effectiveness of technical and tactical actions.
Results and conclusions. The data obtained indicate greater stability in offensive activity among men during the final stage of the bout, which may be due to both physiological characteristics and differences in tactical approach or level of preparedness within gender categories. The quantitative characteristics of competitive performance obtained using O.P. Frolov’s methodology can be regarded as model benchmarks for kickboxers of the highest sporting calibre. The proposed efficiency coefficients for attacking and defensive actions, as well as the endurance coefficient, allow for an objective assessment not only of the effectiveness of the bout but also of the level of development of key components of fitness, which provides a basis for the individualisation and optimisation of the training process.

Keywords: competitive activity, effectiveness of technical and tactical actions, O.P. Frolov’s methodology, full-contact, effectiveness coefficients, model characteristics.
