The purpose of the study is to consider and substantiate the system of planning training loads in the process of preparing highly qualified football players for short–term tournaments.
Methodology and organization of research. To substantiate the effectiveness of physical activity planning in training microcycles for the preparation of highly qualified football players for short-term tournaments during 2022-2023, a parallel formative experiment was conducted, which allowed using functional tests to determine the dynamics of the results that determine the functioning of the respiratory and cardiovascular systems during training and competitive activities. For this purpose, two groups (control (CG) and experimental (EG)) of 18 people were formed on the basis of the Russian youth national football team (U-21), which were homogeneous before the start of training (p>0.05).
The results of the study and their discussion. The use of functional tests to assess the activity of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems under the influence of varying the magnitude and orientation of the training load in preparation for short-term tournaments made it possible to establish that the football players of the Russian youth national team (U-21), representing EG, have an average and maximum heart rate of 143.7±4.8 and 164.8±5.3 beats per minute, accordingly. The presented values are lower by 21.7 and 25.8 beats/min (p<0.05), compared with the data shown at the beginning of the experiment. In the control group, by the end of the experiment, the average and maximum heart rate reached 165.2±5.5 and 185.3±5.9 beats/min, respectively, which is 5.7 and 9.7 beats/min higher than at the beginning of the experiment (p>0.05).
During the parallel formative pedagogical experiment, there was a significant increase in physical performance, estimated with Using the PWC170 submaximal test, football players have an EG of 86.7±3.8 kg/min (p<0.05), and in KG the results increase only by 24.2±1.2 kg/min (p>0.05).
Conclusion. A parallel formative experiment proved the need to vary the volume and orientation of training loads in the preparation of highly qualified football players for short-term tournaments, which is confirmed by the positive dynamics of the results of the functional state and physical performance of the players of the experimental group.
