Objective of the study is to develop and implement a specialised methodology based on the principles of sensory integration, strict rhythmic organisation and variability of exercise conditions, which will improve the quality of small club throws performed by 10-11-year-old gymnasts.
Methods and structure of the study. A 12-week pedagogical experiment was conducted at the Prestige Rhythmic Gymnastics Centre. The study involved 30 gymnasts at the training stage of preparation, who were divided into two representative groups based on their initial level of technical preparedness, age and sports experience: a control group (CG, n=15) and an experimental group (EG, n=15). A detailed analysis of the requirements for performing throwing elements with clubs was carried out, and key factors contributing to the occurrence of errors were identified.
Results and conclusions. The developed methodology for improving the technique of small throws with clubs for gymnasts aged 10-11 at the training stage consists of five target blocks aimed at developing kinesthetic control, rhythmic abilities, proprioception, dynamic balance, and technical accuracy. The results of a 12-week pedagogical experiment confirmed the high effectiveness of the developed methodology. In the experimental group, a statistically significant (p<0.05) decrease in deductions for technical errors was recorded.
