Objective of the study is to develop a decision-making algorithm for planning training loads, taking into account operational and ongoing monitoring, using criteria for the functional condition of Greco-Roman wrestlers.
Methods and structure of the study. The scientific work used: accelerometry, pulsometry, cardiointervalometry, lactatometry, survey method, pedagogical testing, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics.
Results and conclusions. Criteria for operational control (daily use) were identified: biomechanical and medical-biological markers: time to complete 10 throws, throwing power, stability of applied force and rotation when performing a series of throws, subjective assessment of load (Borg scale), heart rate during sleep, and the regulatory systems stress index. Criteria for ongoing monitoring (analysis within the microcycle) were established: lactate dynamics, regulatory systems activity index, and rotation efficiency during a series of dummy throws.

Keywords: comprehensive control, training process management, planning, short-term training effect, Greco-Roman wrestling, highly skilled athletes, decision-making algorithm.
