Creation and implementation of a scientific incubator in organisations in the field of physical education and sport

Introduction. The creation of a scientific incubator at a university is an important element in the development of the scientific and innovative infrastructure of an educational institution. Scientific incubators allow researchers, educators, and students to work together on interdisciplinary projects, commercialize scientific achievements, and improve the competitiveness of universities.
The purpose of the study is to create and implement a scientific incubator at the University of Physical Education and Sports, which will promote the integration of educational and scientific activities, strengthen the university's position in the scientific community, and create conditions for successful careers for graduates and faculty members.
Research methodology and organization. The study was based on a competence-based, systemic, activity-based, and integrative approach, which identified the formats for the functioning of a scientific incubator within the University of Physical Education and Sports, the current areas for expanding scientific activities, and the aspects for enhancing the competitiveness of domestic universities.
Research results and their discussion. The activities of the scientific incubator within the University of Physical Education and Sports are aimed at: creating a research environment (providing access to modern scientific resources, analysis tools, and laboratory equipment for employees and students); supporting innovative initiatives (stimulating the development of promising research projects and the implementation of advanced methods in physical education); development of interdisciplinary connections (establishing interaction between branches and the main university, creating conditions for the exchange of experience and knowledge between scientists in different fields); professional development of personnel (holding regular seminars, training sessions, and master classes on current issues in physical culture); integration into the international scientific community (participation in international conferences, publication of articles in foreign journals, and involvement of foreign experts for consultations and collaboration); commercialization of research results (establishment of mechanisms for introducing scientific developments into practical use); popularization of scientific achievements among the public (organization of events to raise public awareness about the role and significance of physical culture and sports in the development of the region) [1–2].
To implement this activity, the Spider Project system's information and technological architecture has been developed and tested, including mechanisms for supporting research activities and improving the quality of research, expanding the range of publications in high-ranking journals, and enhancing the university's competitiveness in the field of academic research.
Conclusions. The information system was tested at four universities in the Chelyabinsk Region between September 2024 and July 2025. Significant changes were observed in all key indicators, confirming the effectiveness of organizational management in implementing the information system for creating and implementing a scientific incubator in educational, physical culture, and sports organizations at the regional level.
