Introduction. Currently, the relevance of holding scientific forums in the field of physical culture and sports (PC&S) is still in demand in modern society. The digital transformation of the industry, the decrease in physical activity, and the need to increase the stress resistance of young people require the integration of high-tech sports technologies, pedagogical methods, and interdisciplinary cooperation to promote a healthy lifestyle and unlock the sports potential of the younger generation [1].
The purpose of the study is to reveal the potential of a scientific event in the context of highlighting the problems of psychophysical training of future civil aviation specialists.
Methodology and organization of the study. An analytical review of the topics of scientific reports presented at the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Physical Culture and Sports of Youth”, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the University of St. Petersburg State University of Civil Aviation named after the Chief Marshal of Aviation A. A. Novikov, which took place on October 8–9, 2025.
Research results and their discussion. The importance of applied physical culture and sports in training specialists in the field of civil aviation was emphasized in the welcoming speeches by G. A. Kostin, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Work, and K. N. Dementyev, Head of the Department of Physical and Psychophysiological Training.
The plenary session was attended by leading experts and scientists in the field of physical culture and sports (FKiS). Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of RUS "GTSOLIFK", editor-in-chief of the scientific journal "Theory and Practice of Physical Culture" (Moscow) L. I. Lubysheva made a presentation "Modern problems of physical education of students in the focus of scientific journal publications "Theory and practice of physical education" and noted the key role of sports periodicals in spreading scientific ideas of innovative transformation in the field of physical education of students. Master's degree in Sociology, Head of the Editorial Board of the journal Theory and Practice of Physical Culture (Moscow) O. A. Ozerova presented a report on the urgent problem of using artificial intelligence technologies in the scientific and publication activities of specialists and scientists in the field of computer science. The Head of the Department of Physical and Psychophysiological Training at St. Petersburg State University of Civil Aviation, PhD, Professor K. N. Dementyev, shared the results of a retrospective analysis of the department's achievements.In his report, Rogozhnikov updated the problem of distinguishing the paradigms of artificial intelligence and the legal aspects of intellectual property in the context of digitalization of the sports industry. Novoselova devoted her speech to the organization of networking, which acts as an effective mechanism for preserving and strengthening the health of students of a modern university. PhD, Associate Professor of St. Petersburg State University GA A. A. Datsenko He presented a report on the topic "Peculiarities of the mutual influence of physical exercises on the formation of primary piloting skills among students of an aviation university." M. A. Brusov, a postgraduate student at Surgut State University, substantiated the effectiveness of using physical education methods to improve the psychophysical readiness of medical students.
Conclusion. The conference served as a platform for sharing experiences among scientists, teachers, and postgraduate students who share a common goal of contributing to the development of physical culture, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and unlocking the athletic potential of young people.
