Application of case technologies in working with students of the pedagogical master's degree in physical culture and health

Objective of the study is to identify the potential for applying case technologies to the educational and extracurricular activities of master's students in teacher training programs.
Methods and structure of the study. The research was conducted based on a comprehensive analysis of the application of case technologies in the content of the main professional educational program of the training direction 44.04.01 Pedagogical Education, specializing in Health-Saving Technologies in the Educational Process, implemented at Mordovian State Pedagogical Institute named after M.E. Evseviev (hereinafter referred to as MGPU), The key approach to the research is the competency-based approach, which involves the formation of practical skills and abilities for solving professional tasks.
Results and conclusions. Based on the results of the work carried out, a classification of educational and research cases used in the comprehensive assessment of the professional competencies of master's students is presented. The possibilities of designing and applying cases in the extracurricular activities of master's students within the framework of scientific student associations in the format of a pedagogical club and research groups are considered. The advantages of using case technology in working with master's students compared to traditional teaching methods are presented.
