Objective of the study is to develop and experimentally substantiate the effectiveness of stimulated motor activity as a means of preventing and reducing the manifestations of professional maladjustment in female university teachers.
Methods and structure of the study. The work uses analysis of special scientific and methodological literature, survey methods to identify signs of professional maladjustment, pedagogical experiments, and methods of mathematical statistics.
Results and conclusions. The study substantiates the need to organise stimulated physical activity for university teachers, taking into account the specifics of professional pedagogical activity, personal health ‘deficits’ and predictors of professional burnout. A methodology for the comprehensive use of modern fitness equipment and streaming technologies has been developed. Diagnostics of signs of professional maladjustment, carried out at the beginning and end of the pedagogical experiment, demonstrate the positive influence of physical activity on indicators of psychological and professional self-regulation among teachers. The results of the study indicate the need to consider various forms of stimulated physical activity as a significant component in the development of programmes for the ‘professional longevity’ of university teachers.
Keywords: middle-aged female teachers, pedagogical university, professional maladjustment, stimulated physical activity, fitness, streaming technologies.
